Don’t get stuck using the wrong type of vacuum cleaner on thick plush carpet.
SEBO designs vacuum cleaners to suit a variety of carpet types – even tricky plush, thick, and ultra soft cut pile twist carpets. High pile and plush pile carpets need a vacuum cleaner with a good brush roller to effectively clean in and around the carpet fibres removing harmful debris and allergens. Strong suction vacuum cleaners simply cannot effectively vacuum plush carpet piles.
My vacuum cleaner simply can’t handle thick carpet!
When it comes to vacuums, one size does not fit all. It’s important to note that your current high suction vacuum may not work well on your fabulous new plush, thick, and soft pile carpet. Over the past several years, it appears some vacuum manufacturers have focused on creating extremely high suction vacuums or stick vacuums for quick cleans. High suction vacuums do not work well on thick, high, plush pile carpets. Here in Australia, there are many plush pile carpet products on the market like: Mohawk’s SmartStrand, Choices Flooring Sensitive Choice Brease, Godfrey Hirst’s Eco+ Triexta or Carpet Court’s Everwell softest offerings just to name a few.
So, which vacuum should you purchase for thick pile / plush pile / ultra soft cut pile carpet?
Most thick plush pile carpet suppliers recommend a vacuum cleaner with the following features:
- Adjustable head height
- Electric brush roller
- Good air flow
- Large wheels
- High filtration
- Bagged upright
