How to clean Flotex in Aged Care

Aged care flooring is typically Flotex or commercial carpet and a certain kind of vacuum cleaner is required to correctly maintain it. Dense, low profile constructions with a nylon pile, often with impervious backing and designed to withstand aggressive cleaning. In Aged Care many Cleaners using high powered suction vacuum cleaners, e.g. barrels or backpacks, actually struggle to vacuum it!
